How to Solve a Fillomino Puzzle
Your goal in solving a Fillomino puzzle is uncover the one unique layout of polyominoes (shapes made by combining individual squares) that successfully completes a given grid so that (1) each polyomino is comprised of the same number of squares as the integer used within it and (2) no two polyominoes comprised of the same integer are immediately adjacent to each other.
A small set of numbers (givens) are laid out at the beginning of each puzzle to get you started. Each puzzle can be solved logically, and each puzzle has one, and only one, solution.
